Chirnside Park Activity Centre
Chirnside Park has some of the most important potential development sites in Yarra Ranges, including the existing shopping centre and many vacant and under utilised sites.
The master plan outlines the vision for Chirnside Park and its major development sites.
The Green Spine Project(PDF, 2MB) is a shared pedestrian and cycle path on both sides of Maroondah Highway. It will link the Mooroolbark and Chirnside activity centres and parkland areas via the Brushy Creek trail. Owners of key development sites will contribute to this project under the Development Contributions Plan.(PDF, 854KB)

At the 13 December 2022 Council Meeting, Council approved an update to the actions of the master plan, to reflect implementation work that has been completed. A status update was also given on the actions that have not yet been completed.
