Our Community Links will be closing at 12noon on Tuesday, 24 December 2024.Our Lilydale Community Link will remain open throughout the Christmas and New Year period except for on public holidays.Our Healesville, Monbulk, Yarra Junction and Upwey links will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025.
The Upper Yarra Probus Club is so fortunate to have a wonderful newsletter editor named Alan. With the aid of his wife and others, he has kept up the spirits of members for over 5 months by producing a weekly communication called The Goss. He numbers each ‘Quarantine Edition’ – just for fun!
Members submit a variety of snippets ranging from interesting articles on members’ knowledge of things past and present to relevant COVID cartoons to challenging puzzles and helpful suggestions to follow up. The 2-pager is full of colour and is very attractively presented for everyone to look forward to and enjoy.
