Put out your poetry

The Put Out Your Poetry project provided a lovely opportunity for people to connect at a time when things were more difficult than we ever could have imagined.

More than 700 people directly engaged with this project, writing haiku and receiving bright pink stickers to display proudly on their bins. These matched the rubbish trucks that serviced the municipality.

Although the #putoutyourpoetry project has officially finished, rather than slam the door closed, we will softly sneak out of the room, and allow community to move onto other things. We hope you continue to use the instructional video to write haiku for yourself, friends and family, and browse our online gallery for inspiration.
