Chris Jensen uses bold abstract, naïve patterns and shapes influenced by
Australian desert landscapes, flora and fauna.
Chris is influenced by the spiritual connection of traditional First Nations people, to their sense of place and identity. Now living in the Yarra Valley in Melbourne he enjoys the shapes, patterns and textures of the landscapes around him.
Chris paints local birds as a metaphor of freedom and creativity, a contrast to the control of modern regular edged shapes.
