Welcome to Wild Soul Movement, a safe space to explore feeling and remember play through movement, music and community.  Seeking the art and the heart of re-connection in the freedom of letting go, welcoming and surrendering to what is.

Facilitated by Melanie Blacksmith (She/They) of Grounded Pathways, we will seek our own intuitive spark, impulses and inner rhythms, following the path of curiosity and aliveness.  Playful and deeply revealing, there is always something new to learn in the journey of dance.

We move on a wave, gently moving into the ecstatic centre, shaking off and allowing in, coming into closing we weave into the emergence of new possibilities.  The gathering is completed with a sharing circle and reflection.  Delving into the deeply medicinal, healing and rejuvenating aspects of dance through the ecstatic of 'getting out of our minds', into our bodies, there is an opportunity to really hear, to deeply listen, and then know, which way? - this way!  The dance guides us.

Melanie Blacksmith is a newcomer to facilitating community conscious dance, currently studying DJ skills under the guidance of Rivka Worth. Melanie is passionate about community, natural movement and deep nature connection.  With love and appreciation Wild Soul Movement acknowledge the Woi-wurrung language group of the Kulin Nation as traditional custodians of beautiful Wurundjeri Country we dance in.
