The hills are alive with the sounds of Christmas! The beautiful Upwey Village invites the community to come along to the Main street of Upwey on Wednesday the 14th of December to celebrate. The Upwey Traders Group is collaborating with Light Up Upwey to put together a fun evening of joy, to show what the hills are about, strong and caring community of wonderful people. 

 

The shops will be dressed up with decorations and lights to make the Main Street shine. Christmas carols will fill the streets with fun and singing. The kids (and adults that want to be kids) can have fun on the festive street hunt, where there are prizes to be won. Get dressed up in your favourite Christmas dress up with prizes to be won. The shop owners will dress up, to add to the fun and hand out treats.  If we are lucky enough, Santa may take a break from his work at the north pole to make an special appearance to Upwey.
