The Adaptation Game Workshop

Yarra Ranges residents are invited to take part in an interactive board game based workshop. This session will be co-hosted by the Monbulk and District Community Opportunities Workingroup (MADCOW), who champion community development and resilience efforts in Monbulk.

The Adaptation Game (TAG) is a board game designed to help individuals and communities better understand extreme weather events—such as heatwaves, floods, and fires—and identify practical actions to build personal and community resilience to weather-related challenges.

During the workshop you’ll simulate how you and your community respond to the next ten years of weather-related changes in your town and learn how you can help reduce the risk.

This workshop is suited to people aged 16+ who are interested in learning more about climate risks in the Yarra Ranges and what actions you can take to be more resilient.
