When people talk about bats, it's usually about cricket, insulation or maybe fruit bats. However, there is a group of tiny mammals called Microbats that move fast, are rarely seen and are most likely flying in your neighbourhood after dusk. The evening will begin with a talk about local nocturnal species including bats, possums and birds; their biology, feeding habits and other interesting facts. Following the presentation we'll go on a walk around Lillydale Lake to look for nocturnal species.
