Managing Difficult Situations for Volunteers

This workshop will explore ways in which committees and volunteers can learn to navigate a successful pathway through challenging situations that often involve high emotions. 

Topics include:

  • Why challenging behaviours might occur
  • Indicators that a situation is becoming challenging
  • De-escalating tense and challenging situations
  • Debriefing and self-care

 

This workshop is offered as part of Council’s free Skills Building Program.  

 

About the Facilitator
