There's a lot of truth in the saying "we are our own worst critic".

If you find yourself stuck in self-criticism when facing challenges, comparing yourself to others or when you make a mistake, then this session is for you.

As mothers, we want to do our absolute best for our children and it's hard when things don't go the way we expected or wanted. But despite what we might have been told, berating and criticising ourselves doesn't help us or the situation improve. Instead, it makes it harder for us to succeed and amplifies feelings of shame, guilt and inadequacy (even when we haven't actually done anything wrong).

Self-compassion has been proven to improve motivation, performance and resilience. It is one of the best tools we have to support ourselves through difficult times while having only positive effects on our wellbeing.
