Intergenerational Music Program (BlueCross Mooroolbark)

Location: BlueCross Baradine Aged Care Community, 15-19 Baradine Rd, Mooroolbark

Time: 10:30-11:30am Thursday's beginning October 10th for 10 consecutive weeks (final session December 12th)

Cost: $65 per child for 10-week program (younger siblings under 1 are free of charge)

Our intergenerational music programs are designed to foster meaningful connections and bridge the gap between young and old for their mutual benefit. They aim to help children develop social skills, confidence, and empathy, while providing older adults with a sense of purpose, as well as positive social, physical, and mental health outcomes. Led by a facilitator, the fun and relaxed programs include singing, movement, and simple activities to encourage social interaction, physical activity, and enjoyment for all.

Caregivers are expected to supervise their children and encouraged to participate as they feel comfortable.
