Hello Red Planet

Using audio from interviews recorded with Warburton locals, Bunk Puppets present a theatre performance in the shape of a satirical Information Night about relocating the town to Mars. Hear about all the wonderful and unique aspects of this town. What makes it so great that it's worth picking it up and transporting it to Mars - which is obviously a much more fun place than Earth. 

Bunk Puppets are back with another unique and fun work of theatre for young and old(er).

This show has toured across Victoria, finishing up in Warburton.

For over a decade Brunswick-based Bunk Puppets, have travelled the world, with seasons Off-Broadway NYC, Soho Theatre in London, The Chameleon Berlin and repeat visits to Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy festival and venues all over regional Victoria and Australia. Company director Jeff Achtem says “Technology seems to be making promises for humanity’s salvation at a blistering rate. We wanted to create a fun framework for members of a community share their reflections and perspectives on the present, and the future."

Bunk Puppets are a puppet and clown theatre company based in Melbourne/Naarm. Recent touring productions ‘Sticks Stones Broken Bones’, ‘Swamp Juice’ and ‘Bunkasaurus’ have toured to theatres and arts festivals in Japan, China, Edinburgh, Germany and Spain, and across regional and remote Australia.
