A spring celebration of traditional trades and local stories

Step back in time this spring at the Gulf Station Heritage Festival in Yarra Glen. This family-friendly event offers a unique glimpse into the past, where traditional trades and local stories come alive in a historic setting.

Experience a day brimming with hands-on activities and demonstrations that showcase the skills and craftsmanship of yesteryear. From butter churning, apple coring and rope making to rare trade displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kids will be entertained with activities throughout the day, and enjoy live folk music from the Billabong Band.

Stroll through the historic homestead, outbuildings, and gardens, either on a guided tour or at your own pace, and stock up for your garden at the plant sale. Browse through market stalls featuring local artisans, and support community groups and clubs.

Pack your own picnic to enjoy amidst the heritage grounds, or purchase on the day from one of the food vans or sausage sizzle.
