Gardening with Biochar – 10:30am to 11:30am

Ari Shanra works for an environmental organisation called "Nature's Roots" and has a background in permaculture, organic/biodynamic farming and native bush regeneration. He will demonstrate how to activate biochar before use and best practice when adding it to your garden.

Afternoon Pruning Session

Choice of one of the following:

  • Pruning stone fruit with an emphasis on restoring older trees.
  • Pruning apple trees that have gone a little wild.
  • Grape vine pruning and an introduction to a unique varietal.

Morning session only $20 pp
Afternoon session only $20 pp
Both sessions $30 pp

BYO lunch and secateurs. All proceeds will be donated to ECOSS’ Crops for Community Program.
