Join us at the Memo in Healesville for the official launch of “Auti-magination: Stories of Autistic Writers in the Yarra Ranges 2024”. The launch will be officiated by Cindy McLeish MP.
This book challenges the misconception that autistic people lack imagination, highlighting a truth recognized by many but seldom acknowledged: autistic individuals possess a unique and powerful creative force. This anthology provides a platform for these voices, demonstrating the power of creative expression to foster confidence and community. Prepare to be entertained, inspired and amazed by the talent within these pages!
Come along and learn more about the creative talents of autistic people, participate in a Q&A session, and meet the talented authors featured in the book. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book.
Following the launch, copies of the book will be made available in all public and school libraries in the Yarra Ranges Council.
