All About Hydrangeas with Peter Grose

This free Healing in our Gardens event is open to any storm impacted Yarra Ranges residents, as part of our Healing in our Gardens Program.  Bookings are essential!

Peter Grose is one of Australia’s leading Hydrangea experts and a Hills resident too.  Peter will show and share:

  • how to prune your hydrangeas for best blooms, regrowth and ongoing care.
  • how to propagate your hydrangeas – tips and methods
  • some great tips about planting, transplanting / moving hydrangeas (especially valuable for those of us with changed landscapes / loss of tree canopy), and
  • how to best care for these wonderful plants in our gardens.

We’ll explore some of the beautiful George Tindale Memorial Gardens, enjoy a cuppa and chat with Peter about all things Hydrangeas, get some hands-on experience in pruning and propagating Hydrangeas.  There will also be time for you to ask Peter questions you may have about your Hydrangeas (and Camellias too).

Peter will also share with us what the wonderful Friends of George Tindale Memorial Gardens do, and how to join if you are interested.

So, if you have hydrangeas in your garden, want to plant or grow them, need to transplant them or just join us and learn from the best – then this free workshop is for you.

Places are limited for this event and bookings are essential. Please contact Deb Sargentson at D.Sargentson@yarraranges.vic.gov.au for bookings.
