You may need a Fireworks Permit if you want to hold a fireworks display.
The following displays do not require a permit application
- Ground (lancework)
- Ground (fountain)
- Theatrical
All Fireworks Display applications must be received 14 days prior to the event.
Council recommend using shell sizes no greater than 3 inches for Fireworks Displays to reduce noise pollution.
The display must take place before 11.00 pm unless otherwise approved by Council.
If the surrounding properties house livestock, the display must not be within 500m.
