The Council is responsible for the maintenance of:

  • Footpath
  • Kerb & channel
  • Road surface
  • Councils’ drainage assets (excluding private property stormwater pipes within the road reserve)

The property owner/occupier is responsible for:

  • Construction and maintenance of crossover
  • Maintenance of naturestrip 
  • Private property stormwater pipes within road reserve to the point of discharge

The Council is responsible for maintenance of: 

  • Footpaths

Vic Roads is responsible for maintenance of:

  • Road surface
  • Kerb & channel
  • Road drainage including, open drains and stormwater pits
  • Roadside signage
  • Linemarking

The property owner/occupier is responsible for:

  • Construction and maintenance of crossover from the edge of the road to the property boundary
  • Maintenance of the naturestrip

  • Construction and maintenance of driveway crossover from the edge of the road to the property boundary including the culvert pipe and end walls
