NAIDOC Week - Sunday 3 July 2022 to Sunday 10 July 2022

NAIDOC Week is held every year in early July. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements, and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that First Nations Australians make to our country and to our society. This year, the theme for NAIDOC Week, which will be celebrated from 3 to 10 July 2022 inclusive, is ‘Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!’. Further information is available at https://www.naidoc.org.au/. 

As outlined in the Yarra Ranges Flag Policy, the Australian Aboriginal Flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag are flown at all times at our Civic Centre and confirms our respect for First Nations Australians.
