As the local government elections will be held on 26 October 2024, Yarra Ranges Council will assume a caretaker role from Tuesday 17 September 2024. During the caretaker period, there will be limited changes made to the content on Council's websites. Information will only be added to this website in accordance with caretaker requirements.
Our Kinder offers a play-based program with children in mixed aged groups for 4 year old Kinder and a specific 3 year old program called Ring-A-Rosie.
A home-like atmosphere is maintained and food is prepared in the rooms from organic ingredients.
The children play with wholesome toys made from natural materials. Everything is designed to nurture the child with warmth and to stimulate their imagination. A daily rhythm is established balancing self initiated free play with those of more direct effort, such as bread baking or painting.
The Kindergarten teacher works to create an atmosphere in which there is reverence from one a other and the world around.
