Haig Avenue Preschool

Haig Avenue Preschool is planned through open-ended learning that lets children have a choice within their environment, progressive snack is offered to help children adapt to have choice but also have structured eating times to help children to gain the understanding of the skills needed to be able to socialise and create partnerships within the preschool.

We offer an indoor and outdoor program, a lending library program to help children learn about responsibility and many more different opportunities to help become active and capable learners. This lets the children explore their interest by providing independence and agency, we do this by using the Early Years Framework tool of identity, community, learning, communication and well-being. These outcomes help the children to develop and learn the certain skills needed to help them transition into school positively.

Haig Avenue Preschool runs funded 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten sessions.
