Stable One's Yarra Valley Winter Shelter

A collaborative project in which churches work together to open their doors to those experiencing homelessness during the cold winter months. Volunteers provide an evening meal, dormitory style sleeping and breakfast to those who otherwise would have nowhere safe and warm to sleep. Guests find a place of care, rest, refreshment and positive social connection.  Guests are assessed for eligibility before being approved to stay.  The referral, assessment and approval process is managed by Anchor Community Care, Lilydale.
