Rotary Club of Belgrave

Belgrave Rotary has a proud history of assisting the local hills community since 1954.

Celebrating our 70^th birthday in 2024, was a significant milestone for any community group.

Over the years our members have enjoyed the many and varied local community projects with great success.

Our focus and purpose is to also create strong relationships with other community groups, schools, charity organisations, council, state and federal government and people from our community.

Our club loves to have fun, and each member becomes a friend to each one of us, and being there for each other.

Much laughter is shared at our regular social activities, such as dinners, movie and music nights, day trips, weekends away, sporting events, trivia nights and comedy.

The Rotary Club of Belgrave are part of a global network of service clubs that work to improve the world through service, friendship, and community development. 

Rotary clubs are open to people of all backgrounds, and their members are known as Rotarians. 

What Rotary clubs do

Rotary clubs work on projects to improve their communities, such as beautifying the environment, helping the homeless, and supporting refugees 

• International relations

Rotary clubs work on projects to promote peace and understanding between cultures, such as training leaders to prevent conflict 

• Health and sanitation

Rotary clubs work on projects to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, and to fight disease 

• Education

Rotary clubs work on projects to support education, such as helping young people develop leadership skills 

• Economic development

Rotary clubs work on projects to create economic opportunities for people of all ages
