About

Mooroolbark Community Garden is a volunteer-led garden in the heart of Mooroolbark. The garden was established as a means of creating a more engaged and sustainable community that practices advanced gardening techniques to provide access to local produce. The aim of the volunteers is to bring people together by growing organic produce, sharing food, learning, and socialising.

Working Bees/Activities

The garden has at least one volunteer in attendance each weekday morning. Volunteers do a variety of activities from weeding, propagating, planting, picking, liaising with corporate, school or mutual obligation groups or generally interacting with people passing through the garden. Get in touch with us if you'd like to volunteer.
