About

Friends of Upwey South Reserve is a group of residents keen to foster indigenous flora and fauna of the reserve for the benefit of the whole community.  We weed and plant indigenous species in collaboration with Yarra Ranges Council and are supported by Landcare Victoria and Melbourne Water.

We encourage community engagement with safe opportunities for all to join in environmental and training activities. Friends of Upwey South Reserve is a Child Safe group.

Working Bees and Activities

Monthly working bees to weed and plant in Upwey South Reserve take place on the last Saturday of the month from February to November between 10 am to 1 pm (Including morning tea afterwards). We meet at the main picnic table in Upwey South Recreational Reserve (enter from the corner of Eloera and Brookside Streets).
