Discovery Community Care

Discovery Community Care is a place where people can come along and get involved in various community initiatives. The intention is to build strong and resilient community members by way of facilitating social connection opportunities. We exist to help people in the myriad of challenges they find themselves in in life, but as an organisation we are passionate about people finding their own strengths and assets from within themselves to offer back to the community. We host a community lunch and continue to offer food relief to our community. We encourage those who have been recipients of our food relief program to lead in any of our community programs so they can experience a sense of pride and contribution. We know people's mental health is enhanced by finding a place to belong in community; Discovery Community Care is positioned to be a place of belonging for the health of our broader community.

Set up for the week on Tuesdays (11am - 3pm)

Community Lunch on Wednesdays (11.30am - 2.30pm)

Food Relief on Thursdays (12.00pm - 6.00pm)
