Our Community Links will be closing at 12noon on Tuesday, 24 December 2024.Our Lilydale Community Link will remain open throughout the Christmas and New Year period except for on public holidays.Our Healesville, Monbulk, Yarra Junction and Upwey links will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025.

Our presenters are passionate about broadcasting and are actively involved in the community. There is a program for all tastes and interests. 3MDR broadcasts 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our programming includes music, live performances, news and lifestyle, talk-back and local community arts and culture. We have specialist music programs that play everything from blues, country, and folk to indie and classical and we pride ourselves on playing heaps of Australian music content and supporting independent artists. 3MDR proudly hosts a wide variety of community language programs including Greek, Romanian, Sri Lankan, Tamil, Hindi, Croatian, and Samoan. 3MDR’s shows are available live on the FM dial [97.1fm], via live streaming and onDemand and we are also on the Community Radio Plus app. You can listen live or catch up later to more than 60 volunteer created programs each and every week of the year. 3MDR provides an alternative to commercial and national stations, giving a platform to music and issues of social justice; and many people, causes and opinions that may otherwise not be heard.
