Seasonal Worker Information Session

Thank you to those who attended our seasonal worker information session which was held via webinar on Wednesday 4th November.

The event was a collaboration between Yarra Ranges Council, Skills & Job Centre, Agriculture Victoria and Victorian Cherry Association to provide information about how to become a seasonal worker, what's involved, how to apply and what support is available.

How to apply for seasonal worker jobs

• Working for Victoria – visit their website to register and start looking for vacancies.
• CALD information - Information on ow to apply for jobs through Working for Victoria in different languages is available on the Victorian Government coronavirus website.
• Contact local farms directly, look on their social media pages or web pages for jobs information. For example, Wandin Valley Farms have this information available on their website.
• Contact a Labour Hire Service – Chandler Services was also part of the session, more information is available on their website.
• Attend the National Harvest Virtual Jobs Fair Thursday, 19 November 2020 from 13:00-17:00. Found out more on the Australian Government website.
