Scams and eSafety - Cafe Connect

Café Connect is a casual social gathering where we can come together to enjoy good company, delicious coffee, and inspiring conversation.

Each café will feature a guest speaker who will give a short talk on a topic of interest, followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

SCAMS AND ESAFETY

Hosted by ReadyTechGo, this free workshop will cover a range of topics, including the common types of scams that target seniors, such as identity theft, phishing, and romance scams, as well as how recognise and avoid them. 

The speaker will also provide tips on how to use technology safely, such as protecting your passwords and personal information and avoiding suspicious emails and websites.

This talk will be beneficial to anyone who uses a computer, smartphone, or other digital devices. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
