Kallista Centenary Celebrations! A community event to mark 100 years since Kallista became Kallista, meaning "most beautiful"! Formerly known as South Sassafras, on 1st April 1925, Kallista was born! This historic milestone will see Kallista come alive with a recreation of 1920's. Imagine the town coming alive with a street parade, live music, fun games, a bush dance and more! Celebrating First Peoples, historical figures and honouring some of our local legends. Partnering with muscial ensembles, the Kallista Primary and Kindergarden, Kallista Traders and our beloved CFA. A weekend connecting the present with the past.
