Thank you for having your say on the Concept design for 150 Cambridge Road.

After reviewing the community feedback, we confirmed that the proposed concept plan had resounded well with the community and needed no modification prior to embedding in the draft 150 Cambridge Road, Kilsyth master plan.

The master plan was adopted by Council on Tuesday 27 August 2024.

We have started the ball rolling on this project, doing some early landscape works in keeping with the community ideas and feedback previously received. These minor early landscape works, in the northwest corner of the site, will be minimal (paths, seating, trees and shrubs) to enable the community to start using the area for passive recreation, such as a resting point during the circuit walk, waiting for the school bus or enjoying a morning coffee break with friends!

The bulk of the works proposed do not currently have funding. The development of the concept plan involving community consultation and Council support for the design, will underpin future grant and Council funding applications.

Our community planting day was held on Saturday 14 September to celebrate the journey of this project so far.
