The Arts Centre, Warburton will be closed between Monday 23 December 2024 - Friday 3 January 2025. The venue will reopen on Saturday 4 January 2025.

Ranging Reflections

Ranging Reflections is an exhibition of printmaking by thirty artists, sharing their unique perspectives on living in and around the remarkable Yarra Ranges. Visitors to ‘Ranging Reflections’ are presented with an opportunity to contemplate and enjoy an array of deftly crafted and delightfully engaging printmaking celebrating the Yarra Ranges.

NGV Kids on Tour 2025

NGV Kids on Tour is back at Arts Centre Warburton, The Memo Healesville and Yarra Ranges Regional Museum this January with a range of free drop-in art making activities created especially for children and their families to enjoy.

Nurse Georgie Carroll: Infectious

As seen on Britain’s Got Talent, winner of ‘Best Comedy Show' at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and following a sold-out UK, New Zealand, and Australian tour in 2024, don’t miss Nurse Georgie Carroll in March! Coming to the Arts Centre Warburton and The Memo Healesville.

The much loved Arts Centre, Warburton is a beautiful complex of historic buildings with a strong entertainment program, regular exhibitions and lively community gathering.

It includes the wonderfully preserved art deco Mecca Theatre, which was built in 1934 and delivers state of the art digital cinema experience to audiences most of the week.

The Mechanics Institute Hall which opened with a grand ball in 1913 remains a popular dance and performance space in the complex.

Throughout the year, local and visiting artists exhibit in the Centre’s art gallery which looks out onto a lush edible garden with crab apple trees and berry bushes.

Just beyond, the flowing and revered Yarra River provides a beautiful backdrop to the Art Centre. It is often teeming with locals enjoying nature as well as regular attractions including artisans markets and music performances.

Each year the Art Centre is home to the Warburton Film Festival and the River Folk Festival.
