Glenfern Valley Bushlands

Picnic table with view of the valley

Glenfern Valley Bushlands is a 100 acre reserve, once used as a large dairy farm then as a rock quarry. The land was swapped for another site with the Victorian Government to eliminate quarrying from the Dandenongs.

Volunteers have spent many thousands of hours rehabilitating the site to what it is today.

You can walk the 100 acres in a large loop, or a figure eight. There are several interlinking trails, although some trails are steep.

Some of the wildlife onsite include koala's, many species of bird and butterflies
