Baynes Park

Baynes Park has a rich history, during the 1960’s through to the 1980’s it was run as a caravan park, city folk would frequent the caravan park and enjoy the picturesque surrounds with their families. Prior to that Baynes Park was a fruit and berry farm.

The soccer pitch is surrounded by tall forest and the stunning Sassafras Creek. A path meanders through the 40 hectares of Baynes Park linking up to Frank Irvine Reserve in one direction and DEPI forest in the other.

There is a shady rotunda with BBQ facilities and plenty of seating. A playground and toilets are also available.
