Project Planning and Design Workshop

Yarra Ranges not for profits organisations and creatives are welcome to register.

An interactive workshop full of simple tools and principles to help participants define a project, including its scope and desired outcomes in preparation for approaching funding bodies and project partners. 

Topics include:

  • Shifting from an idea to a project
  • Understanding the project life cycle
  • Working through the ‘Project Planning Tool’
  • Understanding what resources, you have and need for your project
  • Tips for approaching partners
  • Tools for managing and nurturing your project

 

This workshop is offered as part of Council’s free Skills Building Program.  

 

About the Facilitator

Debby Maziarz is a community development practitioner and creative entrepreneur who mentors artists, organisations, and communities to create solid plans for resourcing their work. Renowned for unearthing innovative and ‘fundable’ ideas, Debby is driven to build the capacity of communities to get their important work done. She’s also got a great track record in sourcing funds – including founding Melbourne’s Westside Circus and Debby Maziarz Productions
