Are you ready to make a positive impact on those facing mental health challenges?

Join our comprehensive Mental Health First Aid training (MHFA) and gain the skills to provide vital initial support to adults in mental health crises.

In this course, our accredited MHFA Master Instructor will guide you through:
• Understanding the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions
• Developing practical skills to effectively support individuals in crisis
• Identifying available resources and helping individuals access appropriate support

By participating in this course, you will:
• Recognise warning signs of mental health problems in adults
• Communicate openly and accurately about mental health topics
• Respond confidently to various crisis situations, ensuring safety
• Promote a supportive environment and reduce stigma surrounding mental health
 

This workshop is offered as part of Council’s free Skills Building Program. Yarra Ranges not for profits organisations and creatives are welcome to register.

Note: you must have completed the full training within the last 3 years to be eligible to complete the refresher training.
