It’s our 40th year—and you’re invited to the party!

Come and celebrate four decades of autumn magic at the Kalorama Chestnut Festival. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Dandenong Ranges, this much-loved community event is bursting with food, fun, and feel-good vibes for the whole family.

Hosted by a passionate crew of volunteer parents, carers and educators, the Festival raises vital funds for Mt Dandenong Preschool and Mt Dandenong Primary School.

🚗 Parking available on the oval – $5 per car (managed by Ferny Creek Club Scouts). Or better yet, skip the parking hunt and catch the bus!

💵 ATM available on site this year – but we still recommend bringing cash for those crafty little stalls.

It’s a beautiful day out on the mountain. Come for the chestnuts, stay for the community spirit.
