David will talk about the frogs of the Yarra Ranges and surrounding areas, including those most commonly encountered, some that are threatened, and others that have established through introductions. Hear the calls of the various local species and learn about some of the key characteristics used to identify them, as well as how citizen scientists can go about recording them.

David DeAngelis is a naturalist, environmental educator and consultant with interest in the conservation and ecology of frogs and reptiles.

City Nature Challenge

The City Nature Challenge is a global event where cities around the world compete over a four day period to see who can contribute the most observations of flora, fauna and fungi to iNaturalist, a citizen science platform. This year's challenge runs from Friday 25 to Monday 28 April.

We encourage you to participate by downloading the iNaturalist app to your phone or by signing up at inaturalist.ala.org.au before attending the event.
