As the local government elections will be held on 26 October 2024, Yarra Ranges Council will assume a caretaker role from Tuesday 17 September 2024. During the caretaker period, there will be limited changes made to the content on Council's websites. Information will only be added to this website in accordance with caretaker requirements.
You must be the property owner to request a change in bin size.
The difference in cost for a single bin size change is $15. The waste charge on your Rates Notice will be amended and we will give you an additional notice.

Complete the 'Change bin size' form if you would like to change the size of an existing bin on your property.
You'll need to provide your contact details and property address.
Please note: your bin must be empty.
