Mooroolbark Community Garden

mooroolbark-community-garden-dec23-(7).jpg

The garden features a fruit tree grove and seasonal vegetables, and visitors can buy affordable seedlings to take home. Volunteers are on site weekday mornings ready to provide a tour of the garden or share advice on how to successfully grow your own veggies at home. Visitors are welcome to wander the gardens or sit and socialise with friends at any time.

Energetic and passionate volunteers propagate seedlings, plant, harvest, tend to compost, weed and water garden beds, and engage with visitors. The garden hosts NDIS classes, has an early learning centre for children under eight, is visited by primary and high school classes and is a space for mutual obligation participants to learn new skills.
