Victoria Road, Yering is set to undergo stage two reconstruction works to improve driver safety.

With traffic volumes along this stretch of road significantly increasing, combined with increased rainfall over the past few years, parts of the road pavement have begun to deteriorate.

This construction project will rehabilitate and strengthen the road pavement from Coldstream West Rd to the driveway of property no. 193 along Victoria Road.

Works are scheduled to commence on Wednesday 13 March and are expected to be completed by Thursday 28 March, with both day and evening works to be undertaken during this time.

During construction, this section of Victoria Road will be closed to through traffic and will only be accessible by local residents, business and visitors who require access to properties in the vicinity of the works.

This project is part of Council’s 2023-2024 Capital Expenditure Program.
