This refurbishment and renewal of the existing Playspace, will bring a much needed revitalisation to the area in the form of diverse play and art.

This project will also embellish the link between the reserve and the nearby walking trail, while improving the amenity and accessibility of the park.

The new playspace will include:

New seating options which will include a much needed picnic table
A new spinner play item
More junior play equipment with swings which include a toddler seat and a toddler nature play area
Art based on the bower bird and its natural attraction to blue objects
The nominated choice of tree for the site is Canberra Blue Gum, which is a native species and relevant to the site

Construction began in late February 2024 with completion expected at the end of July 2024.
