Apply for an extension of time to submit a Certificate of Compliance

Extensions of time will only be considered in the following circumstances:

• You have booked an inspection to have the barrier inspected and the next available date is after the applicable lodgement date.
• You have had the barrier inspected and are required to carry out works in order to have the certificate of compliance issued and the reinspection has been booked.
• You have a building permit issued and works are currently being carried out on your property that include modification to the existing pool or spa barrier.

You'll be asked to confirm the details in your application for an extension. An applications is not a guarantee and each request will be assessed on a case by case basis.
