Donations and volunteering

Thank you to everyone who has offered to help our community. 

There are many local community organisations helping people with food boxes, supermarket and fuel vouchers, meals, counselling and other support.

Cash and voucher donations are welcomed as it allows the organisations to buy the specific items they need.

You can find contact details for the groups on the community relief page. Contact them directly to make arrangements. They would love to hear from you.

If you are donating goods, please check with the organisation before dropping off (other than vouchers which are always welcome and easy to store). Despite your good intentions, organisations might not need these items, have room to store them, or have enough volunteers to sort and distribute items. Thank you for understanding.

Donate using GIVIT

GIVIT is an online tool to help connect offers of items with people who need them. You are welcome to offer items you wish to donate on this platform. People looking for particular items can browse these listings and get in touch with the donor.

You are welcome to come to a Power & Shower Relief Centre. You can charge your devices, connect to internet, and staff can provide information about available support services.
