Farm land differential rates
If you own a farm, you can apply for a farm land rate which will reduce your rate charges.
To be eligible for a farm land rate, your property must meet the following criteria:
- the land must be more than two hectares
- the property must be used for primary production

What if my application is refused?
If your Farm Land rate application is refused you may apply to VCAT for a review of the decision.
An application for review must be made within 30 days of receiving your letter of refusal from us.
