For the last 4 years LTAG have engaged other community groups & community members to make and install Christmas Decorations. The project is carried out over a number of weeks when we gather at an office in Main Street or one of our members homes. We make timber trees, snowmen, Santas, Grinches, and reindeer from old fence palings and second hand materials, wreaths from various materials and decorations & topieries from polystyreen balls and various decorations. |

130th birthday celebrations |
This year the Lilydale Croquet Club celebrates its 130th birthday. On Saturday the 19th of October the croquet club will celebrate this milestone event, with invited guests from Federal, State and Local Governments plus members from Croquet Victoria, members from other clubs, past members, our current members and partners and media. On Sunday the 27th of October the croquet club will open up to the public for a come and try day, and have coaching lessons by three level 2 qualified coaches in the sport of croquet, this will also coincide with Seniors Festival in October, advertised via the Yarra Ranges Council booklet. |

For the last nine years our Theatre Group have staged an annual musical theatre performance and we are now working towards our next concert to be held towards the end of November this year. This concert is open to the public and priced to be as accessible as possible to everyone. This is one of our most successful activities, in terms of the number of our members involved, the satisfaction they get out of participating, the new skills they learn and the putting on of a major event, that is open to the community as a whole. |

We have written a screenplay for a 15-minute short film to be entered into australian and international film festivals in 2025. The set location is an old house on 19 Juliet Avenue behind the Don Road sports complex in Healesville. We'll be using the house and the surrounding forest for a suspenseful short horror film. We have procured a highly professional film crew including an award-winning cinematographer, production designer and lighting and sound crew. We are raising funds to cover the costs of these three. |

Our Project is to promote awareness of Probus Lilydale in the local area at shopping centres, local markets, other local events, and at our meeting place. Attracting people requires a visual presence and the purchase of a tear drop flag and a pull up banner to give the club the visibility required to draw attention to the club. In doing so we hope to increase the connectedness with fellow retirees and allow them to enjoy the friendship and wellbeing we all enjoy by being a part of our club. |

Happy Hearts and Wellness Warriors |
Exercise Thought has introduced two new free small group exercise programs for participants led by an accredited exercise physiologist aimed at individuals with chronic conditions (cardiovascular health, diabetes mellitus, obesity and chronic pain) with a lower
income status. The initiative currently includes 2 groups (Happy Hearts and Wellness Warriors) run for 30 minutes with a maximum capacity of 5 individuals per class. Both our classes have begun to reach capacity after 2 weeks and a further Happy Hearts Class is likely to be added prior to the end of the month. |

Little Yarra Steiner School Open Day and Fair |
Each year Little Yarra Steiner School holds an Open Day and Fair. The 2024 Open Day and Fair will be held on Saturday 16th November. This is a big day for our school and takes a lot of people to make it happen. Teachers and staff organise the Open Day, which is used to showcase the achievements of our students across the year to current parents and prospective families. The Fair is organised 100% by the parent community, and often involves the assistance of community members outside the school. |

The aim is to provide shelter for residents within the village while waiting for the community bus to collect them for doctors or other activities. At present they have no shelter during inclement weather and np place to sit while waiting. The installation of a recycled bus shelter provides seating and weather protection. The residents support the installation and wish to financially contribute if required. |

‘Providing First Aid’ which covers CPR and use of Defibrulator. Most agencies can modify contents to address our needs such as Falls, Fractures, Seizures, Choking and Diabetic Shocks.

The Mystery in the Library |
Working in conjunction with the Healesville and Lilydale Libraries, The Mystery in the Library will be run over two days during the September School Holidays. In Healesville, a 'crime scene' will be established and families need to scour the library to find clues to the murderer. A Mystery Writing Workshop will be run in conjunction with this event. In Lilydale, families will come together for a 'Cluedo' event where another 'crime' will take place. Key partners include Healesville Library, Lilydale Library and negotiations are ongoing with Lilydale Atheneum Theatre and The Memo. |
