The Fruit Fly Facts

The Yarra Valley has bountiful seasonal produce is right on our doorstep!  We love to grow food in our home gardens too, but Queensland fruit fly (QFF) is a pest which is having significant impacts on the way we grow food. Together with Agriculture Victoria, Agribusiness Yarra Valley and Holly's Backyard Bees have developed an engaging and fun education program to teach children and families about QFF; what QFF is, what we can do to prevent it, and how to respond to a detection and get your hands busy making an easy DIY fruit fly trap to take home for your own garden.
