Make a Paper Puppet

05 Apr 2025 Families are invited to make paper puppets inspired by Dame Nellie Melba's operatic career, and by the rocking horse in Melba's home in Coldstream. A free drop-in activity at The Memo Healesville and The Arts Centre in Warburton as part of the A Toast to Melba exhibition program.

The Owl’s Apprentice

14 Jul 2025 The Owl’s Apprentice is a family friendly, shadow puppet show about a young owl learning to become wise. Performed by Jenny Ellis, a puppeteer of more than twenty years, she weaves the whole story together with a single set of hands, playing multiple characters at once.
