As the local government elections will be held on 26 October 2024, Yarra Ranges Council will assume a caretaker role from Tuesday 17 September 2024. Sherbrooke Children’s Centre Integrated Kindergarten program focuses on school readiness. Children have the advantage of a play based curriculum that operates over a whole day.
Just like a school day, we offer structured learning opportunities, free play time and balanced breaks to give children a sound basis for learning and development.
Children also have spontaneous and planned opportunities to negotiate social peer conflicts in a positive way, supported by the educator team.
The integrated Kindergarten is a collaborative team teaching effort between the bachelor qualified teacher, diploma and certificate qualified educators who plan and implement the program together.
The cost of this program is covered by the cost of your normal daily fees and the Victorian Government fee funding. Our integrated preschool program offers families a quality kindergarten program for their children as well as the traditional flexibility of long day care.
