Lancaster Preschool runs a rotational program where children attend for three 5 hour sessions per week. We provide an indoor/outdoor program where children have the opportunity to learn and develop through play.
At Lancaster Preschool we run an indoor/outdoor program using the Walker Learning approach to dictate our curriculum, with a strong focus on building strong relationships and giving children choice and autonomy..
At Lancaster Preschool we believe that children learn through play. Through a quality program children gain self-esteem, confidence in their own ability and a passion for learning and discover, an understanding of others, independence, enjoyment and sound knowledge of the world around them.
We are managed by early years management Yarra Ranges Kinders Inc. Parents are welcome to help out in the everyday running of the kinder by joining our sessions to 'stay and play', helping to run fundraisers and social events and being involved in the caring of our kinder animals and gardens.
3 year old program runs: Wednesday 9.15am-2.15pm (combined with 4 year old kinder) Friday 9.15am-2.15pm (combined with 4 year old kinder)
